Excel Carpentry

General Summary

Perform a variety of finish and rough carpentry services consistent with plan specifications. Interpret blueprints and layout the phases of construction accordingly. Duties may vary, but overall consist of construction / erection of wall frames, supports, stairways, and roofing structures using wood and wood product materials; measure, cut, saw, plane and fasten pieces of wood / install subflooring and trusses; visualize finished products according to plans. Some duties include shaping / installing metal rebar for a variety of purposes as needed per project.

  • Inspect, repair, install, modify, rebuild, construct, and maintain woodwork and other related structures.
  • Knowledge of practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, and safety
  • Proficient at interpreting specifications and coordinating various phases of construction
  • Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, stairways, and other wooden fixtures used in buildings using woodworking machines, hand tools, and power tools
